First Circular
The Asociación Española de Estudios Lexicográficos (AELex) was created in Barcelona in may 2002 as a result of the I Symposium Internacional de Lexicografía held in the Universitat Pompeu Fabra. It is the aim of the AELex to favour the development of studies on lexicography as well as to serve as a means of communication in all topics and approaches to lexicography, with no ladministrative limits or linguistic borders though it shows a special interest for that lexicography – either mono- or biligual – whose target is the Spanish world.
As commissioned by the Association we organize the First International Conference of the AELex to be held in the University of A Coruña in September 14th to 18th 2004.
